The World Food Safety Organisation supports the EU, ISO and the corresponding accreditation schemes initiatives for the implementation of food safety management (HACCP) system . Achieving a certification for food safety in line with the FAO, WHO and Codex Alimentarius supported by local legislation is of  the essence. The WFSO approach is to provide the tools for professional consultants and auditors to verify an effective food safety management system through a process of assessments and continuous improvements. The WFSO's  Food Care Award combines all the elements of this approach .
